“Art makes it possible to take a completely different perspective on our innermost being”

About Fabian Utta.

Fabian Utta was born on July 8, 1996 in Konstanz and currently lives in Mannheim. In 2013, he discovered his love for art while experimenting with excess wall paint. The first exhibitions followed just two years later.

Despite increasing attention and financial success, a career as an artist was initially out of the question for him. Too “unsafe” and “unreasonable”.

It only took two aborted business studies to realize that he would be better off concentrating on what he is, an artist, and not trying in vain to become something else. With this realization, he now devoted himself entirely to art, which led to more creative and productive years than ever before.

The aim of his art is above all to touch the viewer so that he can engage in an intimate dialogue with the work of art in order to explore himself.

He prefers to create his expressive works, mostly on canvas, in gouache and/or acrylic. The works impress with a skilful combination of abstract and realistic elements and, with their lively colors, mostly focus on portraits.
